Obviously, there's Uprisings festival, Saturday at Gateway. There are seventeen massive acts, from the Hogs to the Rudis and our awesome Durban bands. But if this is not your thing, there are plenty more concerts going down in Durban this weekend.
For starters, Burn will be hosting The Narrow and Mea on Saturday night. It's R40 to get in and this will be the first big national act to warm the stage at Nu-Burn, so check it out!
One after another The Narrow is dominating the club's chart with single after single. They had a massive success with their single Lonely Lonely and all their shows are sold out everywhere they play. There is no arguing that this is the No. 1 hard rock band in the country at the moment.
Spoonfeedas, White Chapel and Golgotha
@ Cliffys, Saturday 29th
This is the perfect chance to bring all your friends/family members that are not into the "scary and damn loud noise" we love. We will also be showcasing, for the first time, some accoustic numbers we have conjoured up.
Sounds great.
On Sunday 30th July:
Watershed
@ Durban Botanic Gardens, R50 adults
and finally, on Sunday night...
Thirty Three
@ Society, 7.30pm, R20
I also got an email saying Spoonfeedas will be playing the same night, but the Society press release says they are on the 6th August. I'll go with what the club says. Enjoy.
Anyone got something for Friday night? Post it here.
