Saturday 12th August
Battle For Woodstock is on! The Durban leg will be held at Burn, and there will be some top bands competing for the honour of playing on the Woodstock 8 stage! Come check out Cubic Inch, Habit To, Passenger, The Banx and Veeva Feeva. There will be loads of prizes, for instance the Best Dressed Rocker and Best Looking Groupie will be recognised for their efforts! It's only R40 to get in and presenting this flyer counts as a vote for Passenger and gives you R10 off at the door, plus as a bonus the first 40 people who hand the flyer in get a FREE Passenger CD (which I paid R60 for!).
THE CLUB, as 330 is affectionately known, will be closing their doors after 18 years of madness!

Hey guys I'm aware that on the email, some of the text is darker - this is not intentional, and I'm trying to find a way to fix it before next week!
Word from Society is that the party will be R50.
TOLOLOSHE COME & GO starring the Neon Anthems.
4 shows left @ The Catalina Theatre - last show on Sunday
Buy one get one free for students.
Either buy at the door or phone 031 3056889
These guys are freaking amazing!
Dont miss it!
Is it like a musical or comedy or what?
both!
Its a 2 man show, and they do some singing, but only as part of the show! Just trust me on this one, these guys are amazing.
I saw their first show at the Catalina about a year ago, and went back the next night for more!
They do the whole thing themselves, from the writing, to the set, to the acting.
Simply amazing!
(check out fridays paper - the tonight section - for a good review)
definitely comedy.
Cool, well I'll definitely take a look, can't do Sunday but maybe next week.
Final show is on Sunday,
so you have thurs, fri and sat then!
Will be worth your while to catch it!
Ne1 know how mutch itll b this weekend considering it the last night?? The usual R50??
Nope, double that! This is according to a third party press release so don't hold me to it. Try the 330 website www.330.co.za...
tried checking out the site and no joy... thought it might be R100 neway... shot thou
No prob, ya it'll be expensive that's for sure.
ye but what a party its donna be!
It's tempting, maybe just to give it a big kiss goodbye. But it'll have to be after Burn so we'll check.
this 1's gonna be huge the last dj is playing at 9 IN THE MORNING!
Yeah so maybe I should get an early night on Saturday, and then go for a surf early Sunday, and afterwards head out to 330 to catch the last set. :)
good combo! lol
that its gonna be R200 to get in and its gonna be a lock in!!
Doesnt sound right/fair to me...gonna try get some info but surely they cant do that can they?
that would be a major stuff up 4 all.... I mean who the hell goes straight 2 30's????? ppl go there last 4 the jall!
Just called one of the bouncers and he reckons definitley R200..but wait! You get a t-shirt and a CD!
Shit dudes that a lot of money to pay...especially since I havent jolled there properly since like 99! Is it worth it? hmmmm not sure
Ahhhhh..... speaking of nistuldge....! party party party! its the weekend!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah I ain't going for R200.
def not going.... sorry 30's was fun but not that fun! .......well sometimes it was :)
Hehe. I think it's still worth it - if I was a big fan of the club, I'd want a shirt and CD, but to be honest I don't really listen to hard house so nah.
Ive had my fun there back in the day and dont think tomorrow nite is gonna top the parties Ive had...pity theres nowhere for an afterparty tho. It feels like its the end of an era. the rave scene in Durban is officially dead haha. RIP
the final nail in the coffin! 30's was not a club. It was a moral institution where any1 and every1 could be anything........
Thanks to T. for getting this!
Did anyone go to 330 on Saturday?
unfortunitley not got stuck slumming it in a shitty place with a smaller number 4 a name. what a waste of a night...
Haha, was it bad hey?
Wazup,Just letting u no.I was at 330 on saterday. It was absolutely pumping.I have never seen it like that. They also played sum of the most legend tunes like 'insomnia' and 'the dawn'
also to let u no. The Last Dj came on at 12.on sunday morning and the doors closed at 9.on sunday night.
It was a 24.h rave...they went out in pure style.
Nice one. Do you think they'll re-open somewhere?
Hey wazup. Sori 4 the late reply.
I Was speaking 2 a girl that works there. She said 'as u no there are 2 owners of 330,she said that 1 of them just wants 2 open up a bar or pub kinda thing, but the other owner wants 2 open up another club.
They havent made there minds up yet,but hopefully they end up opening another club.Would be cool coz 330 was the only club that played hard house and it kinda sucks not having a place that plays that music. Will let u no if i hear any other news.
Hey every1. Went 2 the DDC Party at N-SHED last night. And was kinda diisapionted. The venue was good, and the set up was brill. but the atmosphere was kinda dull. With a large amount of people lazely walking around the dance floor. No 1 really tried 2 get in2 the party mood.spoilt the whole evening.I ended up leaving early coz i couldnt stand it.What a disapointment 4 a night that had so much potential.
